The City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering is suitable for employed individuals who have already achieved Level 2 NVQ in Plastering and are able to demonstrate that they are working at a Level 3 standard and can meet the criteria mentioned below to complete the qualification.

The course is designed to develop learner skills, knowledge base and competence in plastering within the construction industry or to progress onto further learning opportunities. Course content includes; Apply external render to complex surfaces including, scraped, textured, dash, ashlar joint, and simulated stone; Apply solid plaster to complex surfaces including, internal and external corners other than 90 degrees, round or arched windows, round or square columns, attached piers, beams, inclined ceilings and walls, inclined walls, and ceilings.

This is a standalone full NVQ level 3 that will be delivered via OSAT (On Site Assessment & Training) route. All the practical elements of the course will be assessed on site, however some of the theory element (State, Describe, Explain) will be delivered at college as evening class provision. There are three elements to this course: Building a portfolio of evidence; On site observations of the candidate; Classroom sessions for group and one to one support
